WiseCalc (“we,” “our,” or “the App”) is developed by Turgut Benli. This Privacy Policy explains how WiseCalc handles information when you use our iOS application. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

Summary

WiseCalc is designed with privacy in mind. All calculations and data processing happen on your device. We do not collect, transmit, or store your data on our servers. We have no user accounts, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party trackers.

1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide

WiseCalc does not require you to create an account or provide your name, email address, or any other personal information to use the App.

1.2 Automatically Collected Information

WiseCalc does not automatically collect personal information. We do not use analytics services, crash reporting SDKs, or third-party tracking technologies.

1.3 Data Stored Locally on Your Device

WiseCalc stores the following information locally on your device only:

  • Calculation History: A record of calculations (including inputs, results, and timestamps) to let you review past calculations.

  • Favorites: Items you mark as favorites for quick access.

  • Purchase Status: Whether you purchased the premium upgrade, managed through Apple’s StoreKit.

This data is stored on your device using Apple’s SwiftData framework and is not transmitted to us.

Note: Information you enter into calculations may include personal information depending on what you choose to input, but it remains on your device and is not sent to our servers.

2. How We Process Your Data
2.1 On-Device Processing

All processing in WiseCalc occurs on your device, including:

  • Math calculations: Computed locally using the App’s calculation engines.

3. Third-Party Services
3.1 Apple Services (StoreKit)

WiseCalc uses Apple StoreKit to support in-app purchases. Purchase transactions are processed by Apple. We do not collect or have access to your payment information.
WiseCalc does not integrate third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, or external tracking services.

3.2 No Third-Party Sharing

We do not share, sell, rent, or trade your data with third parties. Since we do not collect your data on our servers, there is no server-side user data for us to share.

4. In-App Purchases

WiseCalc offers a one-time premium purchase to unlock advanced calculator features. Purchases are processed by Apple through the App Store. We do not collect, process, or store payment or financial information.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

All WiseCalc data is stored locally on your device:

  • You can delete your calculation history and favorites at any time within the App.

  • Uninstalling the App permanently removes locally stored data.

  • We do not store data on external servers, so there is no server-side data to delete.

6. Data Security

We take the security of your data seriously:

  • Data stored by WiseCalc remains on your device and benefits from iOS security features (such as device encryption and passcode/biometric protection).

  • WiseCalc does not communicate with our own servers. Any network communication is limited to Apple services required for App Store purchases (StoreKit).

  • No API keys, tokens, or credentials are stored within the App.

  • The App does not use non-exempt encryption.

7. Children’s Privacy

WiseCalc does not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13 (or the applicable age in your jurisdiction). Since WiseCalc does not collect personal information from users, no account creation or online interaction is required to use the App.

8. Advertising and Tracking

WiseCalc does not contain advertising. We do not use advertising frameworks, ad networks, tracking technologies, or the advertising identifier (IDFA). We do not track you across other apps or websites.

9. Your Rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have certain rights regarding your data. Because WiseCalc stores data locally on your device and does not collect server-side personal data, you control your data at all times:

  • Access: Your data is accessible within the App.

  • Deletion: You can delete your data in the App or by uninstalling it.

10. International Users

WiseCalc processes data on your device. We do not transfer your data to our servers or to third-party servers. Regardless of your location, your data remains on your device.

11. California Residents (CCPA)

WiseCalc does not sell personal information, does not collect personal information for commercial purposes, and does not share personal information with third parties. Since we do not collect personal information on our servers, the categories under the CCPA generally do not apply.

12. European Users (GDPR)

WiseCalc is designed to align with GDPR principles. Since processing occurs on your device and we do not collect or store personal data on our servers, data protection risk is minimized. No data is transferred outside your device by WiseCalc.

13. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of the App after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
