  • App Store Provider (Apple): For in-app purchases, transactions are processed by Apple Inc. through the App Store. We do not collect or store your payment card details. Apple’s privacy policy applies to the data they collect for these transactions.

  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose your information if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g., a court or a government agency).

Please note: If you delete or uninstall the app, your data will be erased and cannot be recovered. NutriAI does not back up or transfer your data to our servers.

  • Data Security: We take reasonable measures to help protect your information from loss, theft, misuse, and unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction. However, please be aware that no security measures are perfect or impenetrable, and we cannot guarantee the absolute security of your data.

5. Your Rights and Choices

  • Accessing and Updating Your Information: You can access and update your profile information (name and nutritional goals) directly within the NutriAI app through the profile settings.

  • Deleting Meal Data: You can delete individual meal entries directly within the app.

  • Managing AI Data: Data sent to OpenAI for AI features is processed according to their policies. Cached AI advice and meal plans are stored on your device and can be cleared by reinstalling the app or clearing app data (if your operating system allows).

  • Closing Your Account: If you wish to delete all your data associated with NutriAI from your device, you can do so by uninstalling the application. If you have specific data deletion requests beyond what you can manage in the app, please contact us.

6. Children’s Privacy

NutriAI is not intended for use by children under the age of 13 (or a higher age threshold if stipulated by applicable law in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we become aware that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we will take steps to delete such information.
