However, limited input such as dream text, birth date, and name may be requested for AI-powered analysis.

We do not request access to sensitive permissions such as location, device ID, photos, contacts, or microphone.

3. Internet Connection & Artificial Intelligence

DreamGlow uses artificial intelligence (AI) to interpret dreams. Therefore:

  • The app requires an internet connection

  • Dream text is temporarily sent to cloud services like OpenAI only for analysis

  • The transmission is anonymous, encrypted, and short-lived

  • Dreams are never stored permanently

4. Advertising & Analytics

DreamGlow aims to provide a clean and distraction-free user experience. Accordingly:

  • No advertisements are shown

  • No third-party analytics tools such as Google AdMob, Facebook Ads, Firebase, or Google Analytics are used

  • The app does not track user behavior, identify devices, or use tracking cookies

5. Purpose of Data Usage

Any data provided (dream text and optionally name/zodiac sign) is used strictly on the device and only for:

  • Interpreting dreams using AI

  • Identifying emotional tone

  • Offering insights based on zodiac traits

  • Allowing the user to view past dreams within the device (dream journal)

All such data is stored only on the user’s device unless deleted by the user.

6. Entertainment & Informational Use Only

DreamGlow is not a professional psychological or medical diagnostic tool.

All AI-generated interpretations:

  • Are hypothetical and intended for entertainment purposes only

  • Aim to support the user’s personal and reflective journey

  • Should not be used as a substitute for professional advice or real-life decision-making

7. User Rights

Each user:

  • Can be assured that their data is not stored anywhere

  • May contact the developer to request further clarification if needed

8. Third-Party Services

DreamGlow only utilizes the following external service:

  • OpenAI API (e.g., gpt-4o-mini): Used to generate dream interpretations via artificial intelligence

These services perform text-only processing and do not store any personal information.
